2️⃣ A cookie is set — the merchant’s website records that you came from AIToolForge. This cookie typically lasts 30–90 days depending on the company.
3️⃣ You buy (or don’t) — you’re free to explore, compare prices, and decide. No pressure.
4️⃣ If you buy — we receive a commission from the merchant. The amount varies (usually 10–50% of the sale for software).
5️⃣ Your price is identical — you never pay more because of our affiliate link. Sometimes affiliate links unlock exclusive discounts.
✅ The bottom line: affiliate commissions are how we pay for the time it takes to test and write honest reviews. Without them, we couldn’t run this site.

3. How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Reviews
This is the most important section. Read it carefully.
⚖️ Commissions do NOT determine ratings — a tool that pays us a 40% commission does not get a higher score than a tool that pays 10%. Our scoring rubric is fixed and applied consistently.
🧪 We test everything ourselves — we purchase our own subscriptions and test tools hands-on before writing about them. We do not accept free accounts in exchange for favorable reviews.
👎 We publish negative reviews — we have given low scores and written critical reviews of tools we have affiliate deals with. A commission does not buy a positive review.
🚫 We turn down some partnerships — if a tool doesn’t meet our quality standards, we decline affiliate partnerships even if they are financially attractive.
📊 High-paying tools get more scrutiny — when a company offers a very high commission, we are extra careful to be objective, knowing there is a financial incentive to be generous.
🔄 We update when tools change — if a tool we recommend gets worse (higher prices, removed features, bad support), we update our review and may remove the affiliate link entirely.

There are practices common in the affiliate review industry that we explicitly reject:

❌ Sponsored reviews disguised as organic — if a piece of content is sponsored, it is labeled ‘Sponsored’ at the top. Full stop.
❌ Fake reviews — every review on this site reflects actual usage of the product. We do not fabricate experiences.
❌ Review manipulation — we do not allow affiliate partners to preview or edit our reviews before publication.
❌ Selling user data — we do not sell your personal information to affiliate partners or any third parties.
❌ Hidden affiliate links — all monetized links are disclosed. We never hide the fact that a link is tracked.
5. How to Identify Affiliate Links on Our Site
We make this easy. Here’s what to look for:

🔘 Buttons labeled ‘Check Price’ or ‘Visit [Tool Name]’ — these are typically affiliate links.
🔗 Links going to external product pages — especially in ‘Pros & Cons’ sections or at the end of reviews.
💡 Comparison tables — when we compare two tools and link to both, both links may be affiliate links.
